HYBRID EVENTS
Hybrid events use a combination of digital and in-person elements blended together to create an event and can come in many forms. Below are just a few examples of the kinds of hybrid events Maddie has produced and managed.
Occasionally, a presenter is not able to be physically present at a conference, but despite distance, it is still entirely possible to have industry leaders present remotely to an in person audience using web conferencing software such as Microsoft Teams. Using a sound board, it is possible for the virtual presenter to not only be heard over ballroom speakers, but the presenter can also hear the words of other presenters and take questions from audience members.
Other times hybrid events involve a synthesizing communications between a group of people meeting in person and a group of people dialing in remotely. Using equipment such as a Logitech Rally Kit or a Polycom, it is possible for team members meeting in person to communicate smoothly with those who are joining in remotely.
Finally, hybrid events can also entail streaming an event to digital platforms such as Zoom, Facebook, or YouTube in concurrence with an in-person event while optimizing the content from the in-person portion of an event for a virtual audience.
Maddie has executed hybrid events on all major web conferencing platforms, such as Zoom, Teams, Webex, and Google Meets. She has also livestreamed to platforms such as Facebook, Vimeo, YouTube, and Twitch.
